Mountain Meadows was conceived as an active independent retirement community providing basic services for residents. The owners association is dedicated to providing an environment that will continue to attract, retain and nurture active independent retirees during the aging process while maintaining property values and controlling cost growth.
Our unique community consists of privately owned homes and jointly owned common property with numerous committees, clubs, classes and activities that allow residents a wide range of opportunities for activity and volunteer participation. Participation by active new residents is essential to maintaining our community as long-term residents continue to age in place. The city of Ashland provides for our residents extraordinary cultural, educational and entertainment opportunities while the breathtaking beauty of the Southern Oregon–Northern California region provides a bounty of nature and outdoor recreational opportunities.
The community is controlled in accordance with standing Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions through an owner elected board of directors. A professional on site contracted Management Company provides day to day management of administration, maintenance and basic resident services. We are committed to preserving the unique features of Mountain Meadows that insure the long-term success and vitality of the community.

Independent Retirement Living Provides Professional Management Services For Mountain Meadows
Each of the Mountain Meadows Associations has contracted with Independent Retirement Living to provide professional management services for the community.
The management company operates a staff of 6 full time employees and 4 part time employees. The clubhouse is staffed 5 days a week from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with maintenance personnel also available onsite Saturday. After hours, calls are referred to the answering service and emergency calls are processed to on-call personnel.
Basically, the management company oversees the day to day operation of Mountain Meadows, including, but not limited to:
- Contract negotiations and monitoring with outside vendors
- Bookkeeping services
- Maintenance of common areas
- Association Boards
- Committees
Simply put, the management company is here to perform at the pleasure of the boards. Board members and residents alike may call on the management staff anytime for assistance. Concerns and suggestions are always welcome.
